Terms of Use
Review draft · 25 October 2026 · Not yet effective
These proposed terms govern use of the Multinational Investment Alliance (MIAA) website. The legal operator and applicable contracting details must be verified before these terms take effect.
1. Website purpose
The website provides general information about international business collaboration, industry development, education, networking and potential opportunities. Content may be preliminary and may change. An enquiry, introduction or website visit does not create a membership, advisory engagement, investment commitment, partnership or agency relationship.
2. Separate agreements
Any paid service, membership, project participation or transaction requires its own agreed terms identifying the contracting parties, scope, fees, responsibilities and cancellation arrangements. Those terms govern that engagement. No payment or investment should be made solely on the basis of website content.
3. Responsible use
Use the website lawfully and provide accurate information that you are entitled to share. Do not impersonate another person, send malicious code, interfere with security, misuse contact details, infringe intellectual property or submit unlawful or misleading material. Do not send sensitive identity documents, banking information or confidential project files through a general enquiry form.
4. Content and intellectual property
Website text, branding, designs and other material may be protected by intellectual property rights belonging to the relevant rights holders. You may read and refer to content for lawful personal or internal business purposes. Republishing substantial material, using branding or implying an endorsement requires the appropriate permission. Third-party names and logos remain the property of their owners.
5. Information and external links
Reasonable care should be taken to keep information accurate, but content may be incomplete, outdated or based on third-party statements. Verify information independently before relying on it. Links and introductions are provided for convenience and do not, by themselves, constitute endorsement or verification of a provider, project or claim. External websites operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
6. Financial and professional decisions
Read the Investment Disclaimer before considering any opportunity. General content is not personal financial, legal, tax or migration advice. Obtain advice appropriate to your circumstances from suitably qualified and, where required, licensed professionals. No return, approval, funding, commercial outcome or project completion is guaranteed.
7. Availability and consumer rights
The website may be interrupted, updated or unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law protections. Any final limitation of liability must be lawful, proportionate and reviewed in the context of the actual services supplied.
8. Privacy and communications
The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain the proposed handling of information and website technologies. Contacting MIAA does not automatically authorise unrelated marketing or unrestricted sharing of your information. No confidential relationship is established merely by submitting unsolicited material.
9. Changes, concerns and disputes
Future changes should be dated and apply prospectively, subject to applicable law and any existing agreement. Please raise website concerns with info@mymiaa.com and describe the issue and requested resolution. These draft terms do not nominate an exclusive court or remove any mandatory consumer protection. Governing-law and operator details remain subject to verification.
