Cookie Policy
Review draft · 25 October 2026 · Not yet effective
This notice explains cookies and similar technologies on the MIAA website. A live cookie inventory, provider list and consent-control test must be completed before this draft becomes effective.
1. What these technologies do
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage, pixels and embedded content may also retain identifiers or communicate information such as IP address, device details, page visits and interactions. Session cookies generally expire when a session ends; persistent technologies can remain for a defined period or until removed.
2. Site operation and security
This website is built with Strikingly. The platform and enabled services may use technologies for hosting, security, session management, preferences and form protection. The exact cookie names, providers, purposes and expiry periods have not yet been verified. This draft does not describe all platform technologies as strictly necessary without that assessment.
3. Analytics and optional features
If analytics, advertising, video, mapping or social features are enabled, their providers may receive technical information and set or read identifiers. Social-sharing widgets are present in the current site design. Some embedded content may contact a third party when a page loads, even if you do not click the feature. Advertising and analytics configuration remains subject to audit.
4. Consent and available controls
A cookie notice alone does not prove that optional tracking is blocked or that valid consent has been obtained. Before publication, the owner must test which technologies load before a choice and configure consent or other controls where required by applicable law. This draft makes no claim that all non-essential cookies are currently blocked until consent.
5. Browser choices
You can review, block or delete cookies and website storage through your browser settings. Blocking storage may affect preferences, forms or other features. Deleting cookies does not necessarily stop every form of data collection or withdraw a separate marketing permission. Third-party services may offer their own privacy and advertising controls.
6. Third parties and international processing
Third-party providers handle information under their own terms and privacy notices. Their processing may occur outside Australia. Read the Privacy Policy for the proposed approach to overseas disclosures and requests. Provider identities, processing locations and relevant safeguards must be confirmed for the final policy.
7. Inventory to be completed
The final notice should list each active technology or meaningful category, its provider, purpose, duration and whether it is necessary or optional. It should also explain how to change or withdraw any consent. No unverified cookie names or expiry periods are presented here as established facts.
8. Contact and updates
For cookie or privacy questions, email info@mymiaa.com with the subject “Cookie enquiry”. This notice should be updated when enabled services or tracking practices change. Read it with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
